Hi. My name is Kristine and…

I have an addiction.
To calendars.
To handbags.
Anyone else?
Anyone?
Over the years I have obtained several purses, but recently have trained myself to give away one when I bring in a new one.

It’s not always easy.

Like so many other things in life, I find it hard to let go of a purse. Especially if there is nothing wrong with it. But like clothes and shoes, purses change with seasons and fashion trends. However, that is not my reason for letting them go. I get bored with them.  I see another newer, shinier purse and I think “Ooh! THAT will be the one I keep forever. That one has the organizational style I am looking for.” But alas, next season I will do the same thing ALL over again.

To make it worse, my sister is an awesome consultant with 31 bags. Have you seen these??? I LOVE THEM! My current fave is the wristlet. It holds my iPhone4, a lip gloss, my license, credit cards and cash and change. It fits in my cross body bags. Every few months the company release a new catalog with new patterns and some new styles and I purchase at least 2 items. Yup, at least 2! I am my sister’s best customer. If bags are my drug, my sister is my dealer.

I need help. Serious help.
In another post, we delve into my indecisiveness regarding calendars/planners.   Sigh.

So, what is your addiction?

I love this D&B tote. This one will definitely stay in the collection.

  1. They are great bags! I have a few of the large collapsible totes that hold lots of stuff and two super cute thermal totes for lunches. I’m not much of a purse girl, but I was drawn to the functionality of those bags. As far as my addictions, my latest have been painting and gardening. I’m not into collecting anything these days b/c with two small kids in the house, the clutter builds up quick. I’m actually trying to de-clutter, which is slightly addicting itself. 🙂

    • Thank you Jessica for your kind comments. I am not much of a gardener. I leave that to my husband and daughter. 🙂 But I do agree with you about decluttering. Once I start, it can get hard to stop. We just have to remember moderation is key.

  2. I’m trying to downsize my wardrobe to a few basic colors so maybe that could work with the purses also. Best wishes and you have some great looking bags. God bless.
